Democracy is Dangerous: Resisting the Tyranny of the Majority by John L. Safford.  Published by University Press of America, Lanhan, Maryland (U.S.A.), 2002.  177pp.  5.50×8.50×0.50.  Black paper wrappers with green/white/grey titling and white and purple design.  Collectible softcover in GOOD condition.  In neatly written script on the title page, Author inscribed, “To Leihua Weng: May reading this be a part of your pleasant journey to wisdom.  John L. Safford, November 27, 2008.”  Beneath this, a very small “Thanksgiving” is printed.  Author’s professor card from the University of South Carolina Sumter is affixed inside the front cover with magic tape.  Both covers curl up when the book is closed, and have turned corners.  The lamination is bubbling a bit at the far edge of the front cover.  The pages are crisp and clean but there are tiny turned corner tips, mostly confined to the front and back of the book.  Tightly bound, with a smooth back.

Includes chapter notes, Glossary, Bibliography, and Index.
