Putnam’s Sons, 1967.  First American Edition.  Printed in the United States of America.  339p.  6.00×1.25×8.75.  Black blind-stamped cloth with gilt spine titles; red endpapers.  Black and white illustrated dust jacket with titles in red.  Collectible hardcover book in VERY GOOD condition.  Clean, unmarked copy with slightly faded endpapers, but admirably bright pages.  Square boards, light spine end bumps and wear to binding, scratched and faded cloth.  Dust jacket with slight wear – no chips or tears, but there are blurry lavender-ish offset stains from the black fold-line of a vintage protector.  
Includes Notes, Appendices, Selected Book Lists, Index.
