Limited Edition Catalogue of an exhibition organized by the Institute of Contemporary Art of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia (April 17 to May 27, 1968) in collaboration with the Marion Koogler McNay Art Institute, San Antonio (July 1 to August 15, 1968) and the Herron Museum of Art, Indianapolis (September 1 to 29, 1968). This is one of the original 2500 catalogs accompanying Pop artist Robert Indiana’s first major museum retrospective, with his famous LOVE logo on the front cover. This PRESENTATION COPY is signed by Robert Indiana, with a personalized inscription in fine black marker – “20`VI`’68 JOEL` LOVE`RI” (see photo) – inside front cover. Shelf and edge wear to wraps, rubbing (see photos). All interior pages clean and unmarked.
